In what ways does hard work make you feel fulfilled?
I experience satisfaction in completing hard work. Three weeks ago I repaired the thermostat of my HVAC SYSTEM. It had come loose and I blue-taped it to the wall while I gathered the necessary parts and tools to make repairs.
I first turned off the power to the HVAC. I learned how to make repairs and/or modifications to radio and television equipment at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, in 1973, an 8 month period of training. When I, and my classmates received an 8”x14” Certificate of Completion with our names on it, with the Army Signal Corps logo centered in the background. Then I received Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders, and I drove my 1972 Volkswagen Vanagon to Sunnyvale, California to start my Air Force career at Sunnyvale Air Force Station. I spent my entire career there and was medically disabled-retired in 1989 at 40% disability due to contracting encephalitis in 1988, resulting in being physically unfit for further military duty. The Disabled American Veterans took my medical records and my dd-214 discharge papers showing that I was honorably discharged went to the Veterans Administration and got my military disability rating turned into a VA Disability Rating of 80% Service-Connected Disabled and also being classified Individually Unemployable (IU) automatically made it 100% disabled. I now a 100% VA Service-Connected Disabled Veteran and receive VA Compensation at 100 percent monthly. I thank God for His looking after me and helping me in all matters throughout my life. My religious faith has always been my strength and fortitude my whole life. AMEN. 🙏☦️
