FAVORITE MONTH OF THE YEAR

What’s your favorite month of the year? Why?

My favorite month of the year is DECEMBER. We celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Son of God the Father, in the town of Bethlehem.

The exact date of Jesus’ birth has never been confirmed, so the Early Church settled on the month of December to celebrate His birth.

During this period, one can feel a difference in the way we act towards our friends, family, and people in general. We decorate our homes with colorful lighting, front yard inflatable figures of reindeer, Santa Claus, and snowmen and snowwomen, and maybe a Christmas Wreath on the front door.

Inside our homes a Christmas tree is put up in front of a picture window that faces the street, decorated with colorful, blinking lights, ornaments, and maybe a decorative star on top of the tree representing the Star of Bethlehem
