What is good about having a pet?
when you have a pet, you have a loyal friend, a protective guardian and companion, that never judges you for what you do or say, always wants to be loved and by your side 24/7, will never complain about the food you give to them, and all you have to do is provide water, shelter, a warm bed (preferably yours), take baths with you after you train and assure them that they will be safe in the water because you will always be right there with them.
If you become sick, are lonely, and feel that life seems unfair at times, you can talk to your pet as long as you need to and get the emotions, anxiety, anger and stress out into the open which helps you calm down and relax.
I know of several people who have pets and they are very happy and well adjusted to their surroundings and everyday life. It works for them and mental health professionals agree that this is a great way to deal with life’s challenges, difficulties, and problems.
