What’s your favorite word?

Amen. It has more meaning than meets the eye. Literally translated from the Aramaic, Amen becomes “Truly”.

So when you read “Amen, amen, I say to you”, it’s literal translation is, “Truly, truly, I say to you”.

I never thought there’s a deeper significance to Amen before I studied ancient, biblical texts and languages during my Doctor of Divinity studies.
